Girls We Want To Stay 25 Years Old Forever
In the new movie In Time, humanity has discovered the secret of aging and people just stop getting older when they hit 25. If we had that power, we'd use it on these legendary girls we want to stay 25 years old forever.
Elizabeth Taylor
In her prime, Liz Taylor was one of the most stunning women in Hollywood, and one of the hottest 25-year-old girls. Who else could have been cast to play Cleopatra, widely regarded as the most beautiful woman to ever walk the Earth, and pull it off? Taylor had her breakthrough role in 1944's National Velvet and went on to light up the screen in movies like Giant and Butterfield 8, where she won an Academy Award. Over her life, Taylor married seven different dudes, so at least she spread the good stuff around. Sadly, as she aged she became a parody of her former self, palling around with Michael Jackson. There's no doubt that Elizabeth Taylor is a girl we want to stay 25 years old forever.
Pamela Anderson
It's crazy to think about it now but, in her prime, Pamela Anderson was a girl we want to stay 25 years old forever. The buxom Canadian first found fame as Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor's assistant on Home Improvement before strapping on the red one-piece for Baywatch, but Anderson's insane natural beauty shone like a beacon to dudes entering puberty in the late 80s. Unfortunately, hard living took its toll on her, both physically and mentally. Here's a tip for ladies out there: if you want to stay hot, don't marry a dude from a hair metal band. They'll suck all of the sexiness right out of you, leaving you a crazy withered husk.
Nikki Cox
Sticking with women that were hot in the recent past, what a shame about Nikki Cox. The star of Unhappily Ever After was poised to be the next Christina Applegate-level hot sitcom babe, being one of the girl we want to stay 25 years old forever, but when her show was canceled, she entered into a tailspin of bad plastic surgery decisions that have left her looking a little worse for wear. As part of Hollywood's eternal chase after youth and beauty, her face is looking unnaturally pinched and manipulated. From the neck down, things are still decent, but I dunno. She's married to Jay Mohr, so maybe he knows something we don't?
Janice Dickinson
If all you know of Janice Dickinson is her horrifying reality show appearances and dating Jon Lovitz, you might be shocked by her place on this list. But, before she slid down the slippery slope to horrortown, Dickinson was known as the "First Supermodel" for a reason. In her youth, she was one of the girl we want to stay 25 years old forever, with a perfect body and a raw, animal sexuality. Janice Dickinson got famous for a reason, and in the late 70s and early 80s she was inescapable. If there was any justice in the world, she would have been frozen at 25 to prevent all of the sorrow that followed.
Farrah Fawcett
Let's face it: there are very few women who attained the iconic sex symbol status that Farrah Fawcett did. Her 1976 poster sold a staggering 12 million copies - more than any other poster in history. She was quite literally the girl we want to stay 25 years old forever. If the technology existed to lock her in amber to prevent the ravages of time from chipping her away, we would have used it in a nanosecond. It would have been a gift not just to us, but to all of humanity.
Sophia Loren
We're not going to be so crass as to imply that legendary Italian actress Sophia Loren aged badly - nothing could be farther from the truth. She's one of the few women on this list who actually managed to hold on to her dignity and poise as she got older. But, if we look at her in her prime, back in the glory days of the late 50s and early 60s, she was a girl we want to stay 25 years old forever. It's just a crying shame that we couldn't figure out a way to keep her there as some kind of example for all other women to aspire to.
Tawny Kitaen
Say what you want about hair metal, but the late 80s were the golden years for music video babes. One of the ladies who became famous during that time was Tawny Kitaen. Whitesnake's hit "Here I Go Again" video was all over MTV for the sole reason that it featured Kitaen rolling around on the hood of a car in a see-through dress. The actress and model fell out of the limelight when grunge music put a bullet in the head of heavy metal, and her ill-fated marriage to baseball player Chuck Finley collapsed when she attacked him with a shoe. Time has not been kind to Kitaen, and I doubt you'll see her rolling around on any car hoods soon.
Brigitte Bardot
One of the greatest sex symbols of the 60s, Brigitte Bardot imported French carnality to the United States and we loved her for it. With her roles in flicks like And God Created Woman and Viva Maria, she showcased her absolutely amazing body and remarkably broad acting skills. She was also one of the first actresses to rock a bikini bathing suit and the timeless popularity of that two-piece design is primarily due to Bardot's influence. If we could reach back in time and pluck her from the continuum while she was still girl we want to stay 25 years old forever, we would do it, no matter what havoc it would wreak on the time stream.
Sharon Stone
When you think about the hottest hotties of the 90s, Sharon Stone's name can't help but come to mind. The star of Basic Instinct shocked the world with her notorious leg-crossing scene, and she also deployed her taut and toned body and utter lack of morals in flicks like Sliver and Total Recall. But time didn't treat Stone very well, unfortunately. When she returned to the role that made her famous with Basic Instinct 2, it was like watching your mom try to seduce your dad. Not something we want to think about. 25 would have been a good place for her to stay.
Goldie Hawn
When the world first met Goldie Hawn on Laugh-In, she was a girl we want to stay 25 years old forever and a cherubic little waif. Her body painted with hippie slogans, she quickly became one of the most popular sex symbols of the free love era. Starting out as a go-go dancer in New York City after dropping out of acting school, Hawn won an Academy Award for her role in 1969's Cactus Flower. From there, it was all wine and roses, as she starred in a wide variety of well-received comedies and dramas, most notably Shampoo. She at least managed to pass her hotness on to daughter Kate Hudson, but was it worth it?
Ursula Andress
You can basically decide who the hottest women of any generation were by the Bond girls - the British secret agent always seems to be paired up with some of the sexiest broads on the market. Perhaps the most famous of all time was Ursula Andress, who played Honey Ryder in Dr. No. The scene of Andress coming out of the ocean in a white bikini emblazoned itself in the psyches of men the world over. Andress's career peaked at that point, but what a peak. She could show today's Bond Girls how it's done if we kept her one of the girls we want to stay 25 years old.
